Originally from Southern California, I have lived in Texas since 2006.  After graduating from high school, I joined the United States Marine Corp and retired with the rank of Captain.  While a Marine, I earned a degree in Business from Chapman University.  Upon leaving the Marine Corp, I started my second career with Pacific Bell Telephone, which is now AT&T, as a mid-level manager.  In 2006, I retired from AT&T and in 2007 began working at Angela Johnson Insurance Agency.  To further enhance the agency's value to our clients, I have also become a Notary Public.   In my spare time, I enjoy playing racquetball, golfing, running, spending time with my wife Angela, 3 children, 3 grandchildren and playing with our Weimaraner puppies, Link and Bruder.

I grew up in the Southeast area of Houston and attended Dobie High School.  After working many years in the corporate world, I decided to join my sister Angela in the insurance business.    I started my career at Angela Johnson Insurance Agency in December 2005, but my involvement with insurance began long before then!  My grandparents, Falvey and Eva Smith, sold insurance in Pasadena, TX for 30+ years.  Although I was only in junior high school when they retired, the one thing I remember about being in their office is that they were ALWAYS on the phone.  20 years later, the same is still true – I too spend most of my day on the phone talking with customers and prospects, explaining coverages and recommending products to protect the assets and well-being of my clients and their families.   In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike and my son Riley.

I grew up in Friendswood and attended Clear Brook High School and Kilgore College.    I started my career at the agency in February 2007.  However, I have several years of experience in the insurance industry.  What I like most about my job is the variety of responsibilities I have.  I truly enjoy educating clients on the value of insurance and talking with customers to make sure we provide the best coverage for their needs.   In my spare time, I enjoy watching football, eating chocolate and spending time with my husband Blain and daughters, Ashlyn and Kendall.
