I have lived in Poway since 1972, graduated from Poway High School in 1981, got married in 1985, started a family in 1992 and became a Farmers agent in 1997 with my father in Poway.
Being an Insurance Agent is the BEST career ever, and being a FARMERS Insurance Agent in Poway is even better. I LOVE Farmers Insurance and everything we stand for. 2009 has also been an incredible year. Michele (office manager) and I are having the best time going door to door delivering the "Before the Threat" DVD's. It is our goal at the Cathy Peterson Agency to make sure everybody in Poway is informed about the threat of wild fires. We had our CCV (Customer Care Vehicle) at the Poway Street Fair and we handed out numerous DVD's there too. We have more available in my office at 12759 Poway Rd, Poway.

Midland Elementary, Twin Peaks Middle School, Poway High School - Poway Schools
1972 - 1981
Moved to Poway in 1972 from the San Fernando Valley, CA and attended Midland Elementary. Went onto Twin Peaks Middle school, then attended Poway High School and graduated in 1981. Our 17-year-old son Travis has attended school in Poway since Kindergarten. He is now at Poway High and has had some of the teachers that I had when I attended.
