Profile Of SuccessAs a District Manager, I enjoy helping my agents succeed and take great pride when they reach their goals. If you become one of my agents, one of my jobs will be to help train and guide you in mastering business techniques designed to help you and your agency succeed. During my time with Farmers, I have had the pleasure of helping many agents reach their goals, and develop their businesses into profitable agencies. At this time, it is my pleasure to introduce to you one of the successful agents in my district.
Jodi Enderson, Agent and Producer Desi - Rapid City, SDThis month we are featuring Jodi Enderson. To follow is a breakdown of the eleven elements and how Jodi incorporates them in her day to day business activities. Jodi, a successful agent is:Dedicated to Success Jodi has been an agent with Farmers since 2004 and has been one of the top agents in our district since her first year. Also, Jodi is one of the leaders in her district. She consistently has been a top producer for Farmers. Jodi achieves this rank because of her dedication to success. Her dedication is derived from a competitive behavior which combined with working smart - not hard - Jodi consistently grows her agency. Passionate about Operating her own Successful Business Jodi shows the passion and dedication it takes to run her own independent business. One element that demonstrates this is how Jodi cares for her employees. First, Jodi recruits the best people she can find, as well as, takes the time required in the interview process to validate her primary candidate is the best person for the job and her Agency. By treating her workers with respect and empowering them with the tools and education to meet their goals, Jodi is rewarded with very low turnover and high productivity. Excellent Communicator; able to Understand and Anticipate Customer Needs Jodi is able to articulate the Farmers message. She understands and anticipates the needs of her customers by keeping a keen eye on the changing demographics of her current clients and opportunities in new emerging markets. Another key success to Jodi's business strategy is her availability to clients - she is routinely in her office Monday through Friday 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. Trusted Member of the Farmers Family and her own Community Jodi is proud to be a member of the Farmers family and a leader her community. She is currently a member of the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce, and the local Zonta Club. She also is a member of the local Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where she has received the training to run an ethical and responsible agency. Willing to Leverage Technology to Gain a Competitive Edge Jodi is willing to learn and embrace technology and look at ways it can give her agency a competitive advantage, and grow faster than many agents of her tenure. Jodi recently met this challenge by being one of the first subscribers to the Farmers Agency Web Page Program to which she has already seen increased revenues from policies written. Articulate Jodi is comfortable speaking to large groups or one on one - from presenting on the benefits of Insurance to upgrading an existing policy holder. Ethical and Responsible As a member of the local Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Jodi obtains the training to run an ethical and responsible Agency. Entrepreneurial As noted above, Jodi understands and anticipates the needs of her customers by keeping a keen eye on the changing demographics of her current clients and opportunities in new emerging markets. Confident and Poised Through the 3 years of running a successful agency - this goes without saying - if you have not had the opportunity to meet Jodi please find the time. Persuasive Jodi's style of doing business includes ethics, honesty, and trustworthiness which are a perfect match in writing new policies and up selling her existing clients based on their changing needs.
