Kelly MacDonald, Senior Customer Service Specialis

Kelly has been a part of the Farmers Family for more than 30 years as a customer and has the same policy that started when she was 16 years old! As a Customer Service Specialist for 23 years, Kelly is the Senior Customer Service Specialist in our office and has a tremendous knowledge of anything Farmers!

Kelly has said that her greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients out of confusing or distressing situations that can happen to any of us. Building trust and rapport is a natural instinct for her and she is often the first smile you see when you come into our office. Her problem-solving skills are a wonderful addition to her knowledge and experience. Kelly and her husband have three children. Her family loves the outdoors, sports and horses.

Trecia Campbell, Insurance Specialist

Trecia has been part of the Farmers Family of Professionals for more than 15 years. Specializing in Personal Lines, her excellent customer care skills really make a difference when a client needs counseling through the claims process. Trecia’s many years of experience are invaluable to all her clients and especially reassuring during stressful times like a fire or auto accident. Trecia graduated from the Art Institute of Houston and continues her oil painting. She and her husband are raising two children who share their artistic and creative talents.

Tamara brings more than 10 years of experience to Nelms Insurance with a background in underwriting, accounting and commercial products. In recent years, Tamara has focused on Commercial business and enjoys the challenges provided by the unique requirements of Nelms’ growing, diverse Commercial Client Portfolio.

Kristen Lucas, Customer Service Representative

Kristen is the newest member of our Farmers Family, bringing five years of experience as a Customer Service Representative to Nelms Insurance. Kristen enjoys the fast-paced environment and “loves learning new ways to save clients premium dollars!” Kristen handles all the Personal Lines renewals at Nelms Insurance and is that “extra pair of eyes” looking over each policy as it renews. Her greatest satisfaction is finding another discount to apply for a client’s Policy!

In our Farmers Family, Kristen provides a strong support to our Customer Service Specialists and finds “Never a dull moment!” Kristen and her husband are raising a son, two dogs and a ferret named Junior.

Jack Seeley, Information Technology Consultant

Jack Seeley became part of our Farmers Family because of the insurance industry’s dependency on technology. Don and Kathy felt they needed an Information Technology professional on the agency staff to keep essential hardware and software programs running smoothly.

Jack’s professional experience spans 23 years of working with individuals and small businesses that grew from his ownership of a small commuter airline. Airline owners needed to connect reservation systems in a network, so in the early 1980’s, Jack grew his experience with his own network into Jack Seeley IT Consulting Firm. Jack’s love of flying came from a family tradition of learning to fly light aircraft at the young age of nine years old. Flying single engine aircraft across both the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans are just a few of Jack’s many distinguished accomplishments. Jack is currently serving as the Sedona Police Department’s Volunteer Coordinator.

Kathy Nelms, Agent / Owner

Kathy has more than 12 years working experience in Nursing with a variety of duties in Medical Surgical Care and Critical Care Nursing. The past 27 years have been spent with her husband and partner, Don, weathering the many changes in the Insurance Industry. With those changes, it became evident that specializing in the Health Insurance field was a necessary service to their clients. Kathy feels that despite these changes, one fact remains constant for her, “Health Care and Health Insurance can be complicated and the terminology may be mysterious to many people, so my background is a good match.

My goal is to educate my clients so that their Health Insurance decision-making process can be based on knowledge and clear concise information.” Kathy also participates in Soroptimists International, Sedona Jazz on the Rocks, Sedona Oak Creek Chamber of Commerce and most recently as Chairperson of the Sedona Village Main Street Revitalization Committee.
