Susanne Romo, Insurance Agent - San Diego, CA

Susanne Romo has worked in banking, lending, investments and insurance since 1986. She has a business degree from Pepperdine  and is originally from the Los Angeles area, relocating to San Diego in 2000.

Her interest in insurance stemmed from a passion to help make sure clients understand what types of coverage they have, and why they carry the amount of coverage they do. She feels that her educational approach allows her clients to make the best decisions for them based on their specific needs.

She is very active in the community, serving as a volunteer “Big Sister” for the past six years, plus volunteering at her local elementary school in their 2nd grade “Rocket Reader” program and helping out with local Junior Achievement programs.

Her husband Ernie works with her in the office, making sure their clients receive the best possible service. Their dog Maggie, a ‘Terripoo’ rescued from the Chula Vista Animal Shelter, comes to the office with them and is the official ‘greeter’ of the office. Their dedicated team of bi-lingual agents has worked with her for over 10 years. She is proud of her team and the work they do with her in the community.

Her agency focuses on keeping our most precious gift, our children, safe via the Farmers-sponsored M.I.L.K. Program. M.I.L.K. stands for Managing Information on Lost Kids, and it is the first step in the Amber Alert. Her team fingerprints and IDs children free to parents, whether or not they are Farmers Insurance clients! Susanne and her team are proud to say they have provided digital IDs for more than 3,000 children in the San Diego area in the past three years she has worked with Farmers.
