Every day, I listen and talk to people, relate to their flaws and frailties, absorb their despair, rejoice in their triumphs, and marvel at their integrity, energy and humor. As a long-time business owner, but also a student of human nature, I've come to understand how to help people peel back the layers of fear that keep them mired in that part of the brain that says "I can't," and help them realize that they absolutely can, should and must seize opportunity when it's right and it comes knocking at your door. For me, there's little more rewarding as a professional than helping a new agent realize his or her dreams and goals. While many companies are bypassing their agency force by direct marketing and Web marketing, I know and firmly believe that our district's strength lies in the relationships that we train our agents to create between themselves and their customers. I do everything I can to empower my agents, helping them build their futures. My mantra is "Be in business for yourself. Not by yourself." For example, my day-to-day job tasks are training new and veteran agents, running the support center for underwriting and quoting, communicating messages from Farmers Corporate, providing incentives and contests for my agents, teaching you prudent marketing strategies - such as utilizing the Farmers Agent Website Program, and most importantly, aiding you in setting and achieving realistic goals. I will sit down with you to discuss your needs and goals, just as my agents and Registered Representatives do when they tailor insurance and financial** strategies for their customers. If you decide that you have the right stuff to sell Farmers insurance and financial products**, I will work with you in obtaining the necessary licenses and then we will go through Farmers products training. After that, the sky's the limit! I am here to support and validate your efforts to secure your customers' futures - while building your own!
