About Me

My insurance agency is a full-service provider of personal and business insurance needs located in the center of Memphis, Tennessee. My coverage area is Shelby County, Tennessee and I enjoy having many clients outside of the Memphis area such as Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville, Tennessee.

I am a life-long Memphian, graduated from Christian Brothers High School class of 1968 and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1973, where I earned a BS in Business.

Prior to entering the insurance business in 2000, I had a long career in the food business, starting with a family-owned business named Barzizza Brothers. I was the third generation in the "Brothers" business.

My food career extends from a small food distributing business to being employed in a Fortune 500 Company with expertise in the marketing and sales of consumer products. My experience in distribution, sales, marketing and production has given me insight into helping my business and personal clients plan, protect and grow their assets.
 
In 2003, I had the opportunity to help clients with all of their insurance needs by joining with Farmers, one of the Premier insurance organizations in the United States, and formed Barzizza Insurance & Financial Solutions. 

I have been married 35 years to Libba Smith Barzizza and have two daughters, Katherine (Student at Mississippi State) and Elizabeth (Student at University of Memphis). 

Through excellent service and knowledgeable staff, my agency has grown rapidly in the past five years. I believe that the future is bright as we strive to be a valuable part of every client's professional needs with "A Higher Level of Service".
