I began in the insurance and financial services industry about five years ago. I decided when I began this venture that I was not going to be a sales person. You know that guy who is using selling techniques to get you to sign up, passing a pen across the table and before you know it, you signed up for something that you either do not understand, did not need or did not want.
I consider myself a teacher. It is rewarding to me that I can sleep better at night knowing I did what was right for clients and people that I have met. What makes me different from the other agents out there is I do not sell. I teach and help clients and people, so they can make decisions that work for them, whether they stay with another insurance company or come to Farmers.
