The Heat girls fast pitch softball organization is a U16 class team based out of Lee’s Summit, MO. The 2009 roster is made up of players from Lee’s Summit West, Lee’s Summit and Raytown High Schools. Darin Zechel, President of the Midwest Girls Athletic Association, is team manager. The coaching staff is Bill Cownie, Tracy Kinsey, Tim Pearce & Pat Cunningham. This intermediate competitive team provides players an opportunity to advance their softball skills, learn more about team sports and have fun overall, while competing in many area and regional tournaments.
