About Me

Hello, I am John Griset. I am happy to be serving McKinney insurance needs as well as the surrounding towns of Frisco, Plano and Allen.

 

Besides being a Farmers agent, I have a wife who teaches in the McKinney Independent School District and two children in elementary school in McKinney.  On weekends, if we are not camping, we are enjoying watching our kids participate in local athletic leagues or trying out a new area restaurant.  When I am not servicing insurance clients, I head coach for my daughter's soccer team in the McKinney Soccer Association and my son's baseball team in the McKinney Baseball Association.  Go Pandas!  Go Rangers!

 

In 1987, I earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.  I moved to Irving, Texas in 1994 to work for The Wall Street Journal and in 1997, earned an MBA from the University of Dallas in Irving, TX, graduating with honors.  I later moved to McKinney in 2002 to start up my insurance agency.

 

The Griset Insurance Agency is located in the McKinney Green Building at 4500 W. Eldorado Pkwy. We promote environmental awareness through recycling and reduced energy consumption. On many days, I leave the truck at home and commute to work on my mountain bike.
