Liability insurance is the most misunderstood part of anyone's policy, whether it's auto, home or business insurance. The job of liability insurance is to put up a wall between you and anything bad that may happen as a result of anything you do, however unintentional. The question you must answer is, How high do you want that wall to be? When you consider that liability covers all imaginable consequences of your actions, and that all your assets (including your income) can be held by a court of law in order to cover any verdict against you, does $25,000 seem like a sufficient amount?
