About JP
JP
grew up in South Texas (The Rio Grande Valley) until he left home to
attend The University of Texas at Austin from 1991-1996 where he studied
music and science.
He began his career in the insurance industry right out of college
on the auto claims side of the business in 1997. In 2002 he started his
business and began his journey as a member of the Farmers® Insurance
Agent force. Since that time he has been recognized with numerous awards
including being named as a 5 time Agent of The Year for District 46. He
also completed his coursework with The American College for Insurance
Studies in 2009, and was awarded the industry designation of Life*
Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). JP is a member of The New
Braunfels Noon Lions Club, an Elder at New Braunfels Presbyterian
Church, and a Class of 2012 graduate of Leadership New Braunfels through
The New Braunfels Greater Chamber of Commerce.
While attending The University of Texas, he met his wife Dawn who
also studied music. Dawn and JP married in 1997 and have two boys who
are very active in local youth sports.
While away from work, he is usually spending time in the water with
his family, playing drums for a local band, coaching youth
sports, boating at the lake, fishing at the coast, hunting at the
ranch, or just enjoying quality time with his family.
