Micah Bleecher

Micah brings a unique perspective to the insurance business and specializes in Health Insurance for individuals, families and small businesses with 2-99 employees. Micah began his professional career as a psychotherapist and counselor, before being promoted to positions in hospital management. While studying at St. Edward's College in Austin, Texas, he discovered a passion for computers and software development, leading to a new career as an independent database consultant & systems analyst. He has provided consulting services to several Fortune 500 companies including QVC Network, Wyeth Labs, Smithkline Beacham, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Becton Dickinson, Netscape and Wiley & Son Publishing (among others). During his years as a software developer & systems analyst, Micah co-authored two books on programming Paradox for Windows and contributed to a third. He was a member of Borland International's elite online tech support team, "TeamB" and has presented at numerous technical conferences. More recently, Micah developed and SOLD two highly successful Internet companies. One was an online retail company, the other an online advertising company. He still maintains a small handful of legacy consulting clients, assisting them with their internet marketing activities. That includes managing all of our agency's marketing, both online and offline. Currently, Micah is happily married to his wife Maria, and they operate a Farmers Insurance Agency in Las Vegas Nevada, where they have lived since 2002 after moving from San Francisco. Micah's family consists of his wife Maria, two little Papillion dogs named Vito & Bruno, a cat named Lucy Lu, and a pond full of koi. When not working, Micah likes to read, exercise and listen to music. He also plays guitar for a local R&B/smooth jazz band and plays golf when he finds time. Micah is a member of Business Networking International, BNI Las Vegas, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Las Vegas Blues Society and Canyon Gate Country Club.
