The optimal numbers for most people to stay healthy:
- Blood pressure Below 120/80
- HDL - the "good" cholesterol Above 40
- LDL - the "bad" cholesterol Below 160^
- Total cholesterol Below 200
- Triglyceride level Below 150
^LDL cholesterol goals will be lower if you have risk factors like smoking, high blood pressure or family history of heart disease.
