Community Involvement

Giving back to the community is part of the Farmers brand and District 27, and the foundation on which our trust and respect securely rests. Farmers supports a range of national, regional and local programs in the communities where we live and work, including local sports teams, schools and the March of Dimes. We serve by volunteering our time, talents and continuing the legacy of our founder's commitment to service. I do this on a local basis by Coaching and Sponsoring Youth Sports Programs in the Smyrna area!

David Yates and girl's soccer team

Franklin Agent David Yates hosts a M.I.L.K event twice a year when the local soccer teams hold their team pictures. Here he is this fall with the girl's team he sponsored. Not only does David use his money to help girls play the sport they love, he shows the community he truly cares about these children with his Child I.D. programs!

2008 TYFA AAA Champions

I have coached and sponsored Teams in the Smyrna Youth Football Program here in the town were I live for the passed six years. This year we had the chance to play for the TYFA -2008 AAA Championship and we won! We beat a good Hendersonville team for the championship. Farmers donated $500.00 through our Community Sponsorship Program to the program! It was a great feeling to win but the true blessing was helping young boys grow into young men and be a Leader in my community! Farmers has given me the opportunity to be a True Leader and give back to the community where I live. I am looking for other people who want to be a community leader, those who care about people and have business minds! I am proud to be a member of the Farmers Team and what WE stand for!
