I was born and raised in San Diego, CA in the Scripps Ranch area near Miramar Naval Air Base, an area burned by the Cedar Fires of 2003. I attended the University of San Diego High School 1980-1984. I went on to UCSD where I graduated Cum Laude with a double major in Communication and Visual Arts/Media Production in 1989.
I spent the next 20 years working as a Script Supervisor for film and television in the Los Angeles area. Some of my on-screen credits include, "Friday," "Baby Boy," "Thin Line Bewteen Love & Hate," "Ed TV," "The Grinch," and the WBTV show "The West Wing." I absolutely LOVE film-making and the creative process involved on set. I left production in 2003 after the birth of my second son and only recently have returned to working commercials.
I received my Real Estate license and became a Loan Officer in 2003. The second wave of fires in San Diego encouraged me to become an insurance agent and help people understand their coverage and the strategies associated with carrying insurance. I now spend my days in the District Office reviewing policies and getting people properly covered to protect the assets they have worked so hard to attain.
In my spare time (do I have any spare time now that I'm a Farmers Agent) I enjoy the company of my two boys, ages 9 and 5, oil painting, acrylic painting, jewelry making, ceramics and scrapbooking.
