DMSB recently funded the building of a pre-school in El Salvador. Locally, the club donated funds for the Community Resource Foundation, Vision of Children and the Adaptive Sports Foundation. DMSB holds an annual Bocce Ball tournament each spring as their largest fundraiser.

Farmers Insurance Open
It was huge news when San Diego learned that Farmers had signed on to sponsor the 2010 PGA Tour stop at Torrey Pines. The golf course is located just three miles from my office, and many clients commented on the Farmers blimp flying over La Jolla during the tournament week.
The yearly event is organized by The Century Club, a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to administer and promote the annual PGA event in January. Net earnings are used solely for charitable programs, including primary support of the San Diego Junior Golf Association.
Ben Crane won the tournament and donated $100,000 to the March of Dimes, Farmers’ charity of choice. It was later learned that Crane is a long-time Farmers client.
