I have been married for 19 wonderful years to Genia, who also works in the agency we've owned and operated for 21 years. We have two boys in senior high (Go Vikings!) who keep us very active with football, baseball, basketball and school.
I am a past president for the Center for Prevention of Child Abuse, Past President of local association of Life Underwriters, and eight-year member of Chico Noon Exchange Club (community service club). We are current members of Chico Board of Realtors and Chico Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Genia and I are both very active with Chico Youth Little League.
We enjoy being together as a family and are all involved in boating, camping, snow sports, team sports, golf and tennis. We own a small house in McCloud, California where we try and spend as much of our free time as possible fishing, motorcycle riding, snowboarding, hiking, as well as going to Bar-B-Qs and visiting with the locals and our friends. We also enjoy traveling to Baja, Mexico to visit Genia’s sister and her husband. They own a small vacation resort called Baja Joe’s (www.bajajoe.com) in the tiny fishing town of LaVentana.
