This
foundation was established by my office manager, Kristi Keefer. She
established this foundation in honor of her son, Cooper, who was born
with multiple heart defects. This foundation helps with the financial
obligations incurred while dealing with children born with heart defects
that is not covered by their private health insurance. Each year I act
as committee chair to the Cooper’s Cause Annual Golf Tournament.
