Tom has a long history of community involvement.
- He has been a volunteer firefighter for more than 20 years and a volunteer EMT for more than 25.
- Tom has 15 years experience teaching in the EMS section of the local community college.
- He is active with the Belgium rescue squad.
- 2006 is Tom’s 25th year with the National Ski Patrol.
- Tom has served in most administrative positions with the patrol on a local and regional level.
- Tom serves on the Belgium Planning Commission and can always be found at community events.
