I have lived here in Pelham for 15 years now, and have worked and raised my children over those years. It’s been a wonderful place to raise a family and I’m glad to be a part of the Pelham and North Shelby County community.
I moved to Birmingham in 1980, and attended UAB, majoring in Natural Science and Mathematics. In 1990, I opened my first insurance agency with another major carrier and stayed until 2000, when I made the move to Farmers Insurance, which was a great career move.
Since my children were little, I’ve been involved with youth sports. My current coaching stint is with the Pelham Pride AAU basketball club. I’ve coached 40+ teams and 500+ ball games in soccer and basketball since 1988. Now that my youngest is in high school and two are heading off to college next year, I’m looking forward to activities to fill the void.
